I have been down to Landan town this weekend catching up with some uni friends. I hadn’t seen them in over a year! A YEAR. Terrible. But I you know when you haven’t seen someone for ages and then when you do it’s like you saw them yesterday? That’s the sign of a good friend in my book. So yeah we just ate and drank and caught up on our lives. I tried proper Sushi for the first time too, I am not massively convinced by it… Also went to Tate Britain, hence the above picture; The Snack Bar by Edward Burra in case you wanted to know. I enjoyed the Tate B’s recent chronological rehang, it appeals to my slightly OCD organised side. AND best of all round the corner (well over the bridge and round the corner) I had the best egg custard of my life. MmmmmmmMMmm. I wish I bought one home, I am gonna have to make my own now.

Mmm sunshine. I don’t really have anything to say today but I feel like chatting. Ha. There are some little bunches of Forget-me-nots that have sprung up at the bottom of our garden. They are lovely. I can clearly remember as a child being told that they were called Forget-me-nots and thinking all about it. Wiki has just informed me that a possible root of the name comes from a clumsy knight. The story goes that a knight and his lady friend were walking by a river, and in full armour he bent down by the river to pick his love some and he fell in. Before he drowned he shouted ‘Forget me not my love!’. Haha what an idiot.

I am currently in a very very hazy scrumpy cider haze. I just had to add the word ‘scrumpy’ to my laptop dictionary. Stupid laptop dictionary, not cool. Shrewsbury makes my soul weep sometimes. People just don’t try and ‘clubs’ like Fever exist. In any other place it would not be a viable business but somehow, here, they make money and never close down.

I am in a terrible lull at the moment. Routine and massive boredom. Work has quietened down too, my summer shifts are going to drag if this last week is anything to go by. And everyone has summer plans and I have none as no one can afford to come to America with me. I also keep thinking about moving out but that’s only because I want to shake up my current situation. In reality that isn’t a good idea as I would only just about be able to afford it which would ruin my saving for something big plan. Which is wavering as I don’t really know what it is I am saving for? Blah Blah Blah I should’ve have gone to London this weekend.
